  oh ma !

"All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That's his."
Oscar Wilde
she believes that she has become like her mother .( and so everyone tells her too )
and the mother still doesnt approve.

Comments:
Well it's an hour to be like one's parents. Lucky you!

I am not sure why its a woman's tragedy to be like her mother. Mr Wilde, care to explain ?

Heyyyyy girl you're back too!!!!! Thanks for leaving the link :) Shall update my blogroll.

About mothers, let's take it in a positive way: someday our daughters will be like us too, right? :)

PEOPLE , this post wasnt about me really . it was something this fren said to me yesterday on the phone .i found it very interesting , so i posted to get your comments / observations.

for more clarity am changing the "i" to "she" :D

MANISH i dont know really, what mr. wilde meant by that.
but the tragedy wud be if the mother aint such a nice person. LOL :D

AEKTA oh so so good to see you babe .. its been a long time yaar. have to update my blogroll too :)

and hey your daughters wud be lucky to be like you . sacchii !

my family thinks im becoming like my mother :-/

What can I say..mom are toughies !

Hmmmmm well Men tend to look like their dogs when they grow older..I have scientific proof...*shows article from sunday magazine*

incidentally, do u know what freud says about daughters and mothers and sons and fathers? u wouldn't wanna know...

Well are men not smart enough? Or is it the opposite? lol
Or maybe this is the reason why Most women wish for a daughter, normally they say a daughter can understand their feelings better than a son would (he'd be too busy with other women!).
Anyways, pretty interesting post, leaves it all to the readers perception :-))

actually i think men do. become like their fathers that is.

PIXEL8 and you can be proud of that . :D

ASH they are arent they ? but some are very critical and it can be difficult for the daughter.
remember monica from f.r.i.e.n.d.s
LOL

ARVIND LOL . which breed do your have ? LOL

CONFUSY ok . then dont tell me :D

SONAL i guess you are right. in today's world , the daughter and her husband take more care of the parents than the son . the son gets married and starts his family seperately ; the daughter is always there.

KHOTTA wonder what mr wilde had to say abt that. whether it is a tragedy 0r a blessing.
and how are you ? long time bhai.

most of the good things in life arent exactly met by approval :)

MANUSCRYPTS so true. specially from your parents.
